Sorry, but we can't talk about it due to our lawsuit with Take 2. Everyone will have to wait to see what happens with that, and the game. Pleas try to understand the situation.

I have a hunch that DNF has not been given to an external dev studio (e.g gearbox).

Scott, George and Allen Blum have gathered a small dev team (from friends / colleagues) to complete it in the most silent and economic way

Certainly possible.

I personally think(hope?) that Scott and George approached a third party(Gearbox or Humanhead are my choices) shortly after the internal dev team was let go and made some type of deal to get the game completed.

All accounts seemed to indicate the game was roughly a year away(or a bit less) from completion when the drama hit last May. If 3dr was able to find a team oh let's say in June 2009, that would take them to about June of this year to get the game done.

We know the real D-Day takes place in June. Scott has teased "D-Day" for Duke. Was it his way of telling us something big regarding DNF would take place in June of 2010?

I agree completely. An external team worked 1 year to fix bugs

Closing out a milestone this week. 71 more tasks to do and we started with probably 800-900. Been a good push. Next one starts Monday.

The REAL reason was that GB played too much WoW instead of making a game.
