I've decided to stop my bløgg due to the uncertain future of this forum. The reason I started writing these was to share my passion for Formula 1 and I hope I have sparked an interest in the sport in at least one person. If that has happened, I have fulfilled my mission.

If you want to follow the sport (apart for the TV broadcast specifics for each country (say hello, Bernie Ecclestone!)) you can read news, features, interviews, watch video etc. on the Internet. Here are links to the sources I use in no particular order:

The Official Formula 1 site
AUTOSPORT magazine's F1 section
ITV's F1 news site they exploited the F1 rights in Britain for many years up to 2009
The Renault F1 fan blog Gotta follow Fernando Alonso's team and get the inside scoop. They also have podcasts and a cartoon by cirebox after each race. He is awesome.
RACING-live, F1 section these guys tend to report everything as news, even the smallest tidbit. Still, gotta catch 'em all!
GrandPrix.com Long-time F1 journalist Joe Saward's F1 news site. Has many well-written features and is not afraid to write the truth. One of my favourite sites.
BBC's F1 site If you live in the UK, you can watch the races here. There's also blogs from their on-screen crew, not to mention news.
The Times Online F1 section First proper newspaper source in my list, The Times (of London) have a focus of quality over quantity (opposite of RACING-live!). Ed Gorman is their main reporter.
The aforementioned Joe Saward's F1 blog
James Allen's F1 blog James Allen was a long-time TV commentator during ITV's F1 coverage. He is known for his enthusiasm and sometimes embarrassingly flowery introductions to broadcasts.
The Times Online F1 blog
GrandPrix+ An award-winning e-zine, the first one ever about F1. It is not free, but you get a well-written PDF after each race with features, historical pieces, interviews, news and stunning photography. Published by Paul-Henri Cahier (photographer), Joe Saward (writer), David Tremayne (writer).
Does the statement that these forums are going to remain change anything?

I think they need to sit down and hammer out a deal. Bernie needs to kick some ass, Mosley needs to compromise and Ferrari needs to stop requesting preferential treatment.

All this nonsense is harming the sport.
